Death Of X #1 (Filling In The Gaps) A no spoilers review

Now earlier yesterday I decided to pick up Marvel's new Death of X mini-series from the local comic book shop and when I brought it home and read it I was quite impressed as it did its best with not only the art , but with the story itself.

Now as many people who have read my blog know I have been keeping track of the conflict between the Mutants and Inhumans and like any X-Men and Inhuman fan I would like to see what has caused this conflict in the first place, this is due to the fact that Marvel has been tip-toeing around answering these questions since the end of Secret Wars and the beginning of All New All Different Marvel, so when I finally started reading this book I was excited to finally have these questions answered.

The Story does a good job at setting up the scenario, but in some cases the end result was a little rushed such as the reveal of the mutants current epidemic and Cyclops's resolve. There was also a good side story involving the Inhumans which means the future of this story may include the Inhumans view on this issue as well as the X-Men's, but hopefully Lemire and Soule will make sure to focus on this stories impact with current Marvel Universe.

Now for the Art, when it comes to Marvel I've always thought of the best quality of art, but lately the art the Marvel has had on some of its titles haven't really spoken to me, but with new artist Aaron Kuder, I can truly like this art work, his style is very bright in colour yet it adapts well to a comic book, I hope that his art is in Marvel's future line up's.

In conclusion this comic is definitely worth a read if you are an X-Men fan and if you are interested in comic book art and need reference for good work then definitely look up Aaron Kuder for his because it is definitely a new kind of interesting. Thank You for reading.
