Death of X: What could this mean?

Hello party people, This is the word from Planet M. As any Marvel fan would know that ever since All New All Different Marvel started we have been wondering what specifically happened during the 8 month gap between Secret Wars and now.

Well Marvel has announced that it will be releasing the Death of X storyline after Civil War II as part of its Marvel NOW run in autumn, written by Jeff Lemire, Charles Soule and art by Aaron Kuder the storyline will tell the tale of the X-men's struggles during the 8 month gap and if you've been reading the current X-men run you will know that a lot has happened during that time such as the Inhuman Terrigen Mist killing of the Mutant race and various X-men such as Cyclops and Emma Frost either missing or dead by inhuman hands.

This could mean the end of the X-Men as Marvel has been trying to push the Inhuman's on reader which don't get me wrong I like the Inhuman's, but this could be a prelude to events that lead to the final battle between the Inhumans and the X-men and with the Inhumans growing numbers and the mutants diminishing numbers I don't fancy being apart of that slaughter fest. But who knows what the future holds for the X-men franchise in todays Marvel Comics, but all I know is that finally we will get some answers on what happened in the 8 month time gap.
